With coffee cups and Snapple bottles flanking the streets
\nlike children released to the park in summer and the
\nsanitation officers with T.J. Eckleberg eyes instead
\npoking their sticks in my rubbish to verify
\nmilk carton sortation a more urgent misdemeanor<\/p>\n

We are lost with blue tooth technology, having
\nconver<\/span>–<\/span>stations without faces to read that lead
\nus through stop signs and polite lies as rear
\nseat DVDs play to little ones for ten minute
\ntrips for take out dinners at two different places<\/p>\n

And we carry tuneless winges over the cost of fuel,
\nno one else pumps or washes the windshield,
\nchecking the oil as out of place as a proper gentleman
\nsuggesting a walk with nowhere exactly in mind-
